脫鹽時， G 25，G50如何選擇？
G25和G50的區別是孔徑有明顯差異。G50的孔徑較大。更適宜處理分子量較大的目標蛋白，如抗體等等。
據此建議：當目標蛋白的分子量大于1500kda時應當用G50。其他情況用G25。根據我們的測試。總體來說，G25的脫鹽效果更高一些。因此，在對脫鹽效果要求較高時盡量使用G25。用G25處理大分子量蛋白時可能會導致流速低，操作時間拉長。這種情況對于脫鹽效果有一定的影響。但通常還是可以獲得理想的結果的。

PDx Desalting is a ready-to-use of 3,5, 10, 30,55 ml columns, prepacked with Sephadex G-25 Superfine, for fast and convenient desalting and buffer exchange.

Sephadex is a gel filtration medium prepared by crosslinking dextran with epichlorohydrin. Different types of Sephadex differ in their degree of cross-linking and hence in their degree of swelling and their molecular fractionation range. Sephadex G-25 is one of five different G-types ranging from G-10 for small molecules to G-75 for larger molecules. Sephadex G-50 is available in 4 different particle sizes (Course, Medium, Fine & Superfine).
