| Background | Placenta growth factor (PlGF) is a member of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family of growth factors. PlGF and VEGF share primary structural as well as limited amino acid sequence homology with the A and B chains of PDGF. All eight cysteine residues involved in intra-ａnd inter-chain disulfides are conserved among these growth factors. As a result of alternative splicing, three PlGF RNAs encoding monomeric human PlGF-1, PlGF-2 and PlGF-3 isoform precursors containing 149, 179 and 219 amino acid residues, respectively, have been described. Human PlGF-2 shares 65% amino acid identity with murine PlGF-2. |

保存條件:
-20℃或更低溫度保存，至少一年有效。由于蛋白的每次凍融均會引起部分失活，所以配制成相應濃度的儲存液后(請根據產品簡介中Reconstitution一欄的信息配制儲存液)，須分裝后-20℃或更低溫度凍存，以避免反復凍融。
注意事項:
由于有些塑料管壁對某些蛋白有較強的吸附作用，溶液中的蛋白很容易粘附在管壁上，并且粘附后的蛋白很難與管壁分離。而載體蛋白(Carrier protein，如0.1% BSA等)的主要作用是預先封閉塑料管壁上的蛋白結合位點，使細胞因子或重組蛋白不會粘附于管壁。所以一定要使用產品簡介中Reconstitution一欄的信息配制儲存液。
