If the control is 240V two-phase electrical appliance, if the rated current of the electrical appliance is less than the rated current of the foot switch contact, the foot switch can be directly connected to the 240V two-phase electrical circuit, if the rated current of the electrical appliance is too more than the rated current of the foot switch contact, AC contactor must be used.
Wiring steps of foot switch:
The 240V foot switch has three lines, one control line is normally open, one control line is normally closed, the other is normally open and normally closed common line, we only use one control line is normally open, the other is normally open and normally closed common line.
Matters need attention:
Choose the appropriate AC contactor: If the electrical rated current is too large, an AC contactor must be used.
Correctly connect the power supply: the power supply live wire is connected to the common terminal of the foot switch, and then the live wire is drawn out from the normally open terminal and connected to the live wire terminal of the motor.
