Series L Rotary Lobe Pump

SSP Series L stainless steel rotary lobe pumps provide the simple solution to many processes,

fulfilling a wide range of application requirements throughout various industries worldwide.

Handling from low to high viscosity pumped media the characteristic smooth, low shear pumping

action is ideal for delicate media and where organic solids in suspension, creams, froths, gels,

emulsions and mixtures are to be pumped.

Series L pumps are suitable for CIP (Cleaning In Place) and conform to USA 3A Sanitary Standard. In

addition, the Series L pump range is EHEDG accredited for the highest level of cleanability.

Series M Gear Pumps

SSP Series M stainless steel gear pumps are designed for low volume fluid transfer duties for

application areas such as filling machines, dosing and sampling, throughout Chemical, Food,

Pharmaceutical and other related industries.

Stainless steel and PTFE components combined in a traditional gear pump construction provide easy

cleaning and simple maintenance.

The Series M pump range has three pump head sizes.

Series D Rotary Lobe Pumps

SSP Series D ductile iron rotary lobe pumps fulfill positive transfer duties throughout industry

where the use of stainless steel for pump head components is not essential, within application

areas such as Petrochemicals, Chemical, Paper, Paints and Polymers, Petfood, Chocolate, Sugar and

Environmental / Industrial Waste Treatment.

The Series D in standard specification has its pump casing and tri-lobe rotors manufactured from

ductile iron for non-sludge applications. For sludge duties the tri-lobe rotors have a metal insert

covered with either NBR or urethane, both giving long term wear resistance. The urethane rotors can

be supplied slotted, providing grit channels to improve rotor life.

For increased abrasion resistance the pump head and rotors can be supplied with a tungsten carbide

coating to increase wear resistance. Also pump casings can be supplied with hardened, replaceable

wear plates that can be replaced in-situ with minimal pump dismantling.

Performance

The Series D pump range has nine pump head displacements ranging from 0.79 litres/rev to 6.00

litres/rev.
