PP包膠是極性很弱的塑料，與SEBS基材之TPE極性非常接近。因此包膠PP，直接采用規的TPE配方即可，無需另外添加極性改性劑。雖然包膠PP之TPE為的一類，但采用的二次注塑溫度也很重要,必須要用足夠的注塑溫度，保證TPE的流動性和快速的包覆在PP表面,這個注塑溫度應能保證迅速的在PP塑料表面形成一層熔合層，利于TPE與PP的粘合，又不至于在注塑時讓PP塑料件發生熱變形。建議二次注塑包膠溫度170~220℃。注：PP包膠，不建議采用SBS作為TPE改性基料。
