REX-C900 Intelligent Digital Temperature Controller
The control the temperature instrument consists of three parts: temperature monitoring, signal processing and output control. The system block diagram is shown in Figure 1. The winding temperature value is obtained by three platinum resistance sensors embedded in the three-phase winding of the transformer. After processing by the signal conditioning circuit, it is directly sent to the A/D conversion input terminal of the controller. According to the signal data and various control parameters set, the microcontroller performs calculation and processing according to the embedded software control law, automatically displays the temperature value of the transformer winding, outputs the corresponding control signal, controls the start and stop of the fan, and outputs the normal, alarm and trip signals according to the current state, etc. At the same time, all kinds of data are transmitted to the upper computer through RS-485 to realize centralized monitoring.
The control the temperature core of the temperature controller adopts ATmegal6 MCU, which is a low-power CMOS 8-bit MCU based on AVR RISC. It executes one instruction in a clock cycle and can achieve 1MIPS/MHz performance, so it has real-time performance. The chip is equipped with 16KB FLASH and 512B E2PROM, which can temporarily store faults and overtemperature upper limit temperature values.

The thermal fuse is used as a secondary protection when the thermal element overtemperature is caused by the loss or failure of the jump temperature controller, which effectively prevents the burning out of the electric heating element and the resulting fire accident.
