There are many applications of the 12 volt limit switch, and many electrical appliances have its figure. So what does such a simple switch do? It mainly plays a role of chain protection. The most common example is its application in washing machines and tape recorders (VCRS).
In voice recorders and video recorders, we often use fast forward or rewind, where the tape spins rapidly but stops automatically when it reaches the end of the tape. Here again the stroke switch comes into play, but this time not by collision but by a sudden increase in the tension of the tape.
Direct acting 12 volt limit switch
The action principle is similar to the button, except that one is manual, and the other is collided by the bumping block of the moving part. When the bumping block on the external moving part presses the button to make the contact move, when the moving part leaves, the contact automatically resets under the action of the spring.
The action principle is the same as the button switch, but the closing speed of the contact depends on the running speed of the production machinery, and should not be used in places where the speed is less than 0.4m/min.
Roller type 12 volt limit switch
When the stop iron (bumping block) of the moving machine presses on the roller of the travel switch, the transmission lever rotates together with the rotating shaft, so that the CAM pushes the bumping block, and when the bumping block presses to a certain position, the micro-switch is pushed to move quickly. When the stop on the roller is removed, the reset spring causes the travel switch to reset. This is a single-wheel automatic recovery stroke switch. The two-wheel rotary travel switch can not be automatically restored, it is to rely on the reverse movement of the moving machinery, the stop iron collision with another roller to restore it.
