TCSL-29型差示掃描量熱儀應(yīng)用范圍有：對材料氧化誘導(dǎo)時間的測定，高分子材料的固化反應(yīng)溫度和熱效應(yīng)、物質(zhì)相變溫度及其熱效應(yīng)測定、高聚物材料的結(jié)晶、熔融溫度及其熱效應(yīng)測定、高聚物材料的玻璃化轉(zhuǎn)變溫度等。實驗對象為：固態(tài)、液態(tài)、粘稠試樣，除了氣體。將試樣和參比物分別放入坩堝，置于爐中進行程序加熱，改變試樣和參比物的溫度。若參比物和試樣的熱容相同，試樣又無熱效應(yīng)時，則二者的溫差近乎為“零”，此時得到一條平滑的曲線。隨著溫度的增加，試樣產(chǎn)生了熱效應(yīng)，而參比物未產(chǎn)生熱效應(yīng)，二者之間就產(chǎn)生了溫差，在DTA曲線中表現(xiàn)為峰，溫差越大，峰也越大，溫差變化次數(shù)越多，峰的數(shù)目也越多。峰頂向上的峰稱為放熱峰，峰頂向下的峰稱為吸熱峰。

With the increase of temperature, the sample produces a thermal effect, while the reference substance does not, and the temperature difference between the two produces a peak, which is shown in the DTA curve. The greater the temperature difference, the larger the peak, the more the temperature difference changes, and the more the number of peaks.
